General Qualifications

  • Graduated from Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related departments of universities,
  • Experienced in welding engineering, preferably holding an International Welding Engineer certificate,
  • Knowledgeable about pressure vessels, steel structures, piping systems, and welded manufacturing processes,
  • Knowledgeable about ASME, EN, ISO, and relevant welding standards; preferably proficient in ASME standards,
  • Experienced in the preparation, follow-up, and implementation processes of WPS, PQR, and WPQ documentation,
  • Possesses technical knowledge of welding methods such as TIG, MIG/MAG, SMAW, and SAW,
  • Knowledgeable about welding quality control processes, destructive and non-destructive testing methods,
  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings, project specifications, and manufacturing documents,
  • Able to take an active role in field and workshop manufacturing processes,
  • Strong in project management, planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills,
  • Adopts a working principle in compliance with quality, occupational health, and safety rules.

 

Job Description

  • To ensure the planning, follow-up, and coordination of welded manufacturing processes in field and workshop environments,
  • To support the determination of welding methods suitable for project requirements and technically manage welding applications,
  • To ensure the preparation, control, and follow-up of the validity of WPS, PQR, and welder qualification documents,
  • To supervise that welding operations are carried out in accordance with relevant standards, technical specifications, and quality requirements,
  • To guide welding teams, monitor their application performance, and provide technical support when necessary,
  • To contribute to the identification and evaluation of nonconformities that may occur in welded manufacturing and to the implementation of necessary corrective actions,
  • To organize welding quality controls and required inspection processes,
  • To ensure that manufacturing processes are carried out in accordance with quality, occupational safety, efficiency, and schedule targets,
  • To follow up manufacturing conformity in line with project technical requirements and relevant standards,
  • To carry out reporting, documentation, and archiving activities related to welding processes.
