Track legislation and guides of the NDK, IAEA, NRC, and relevant national/international regulatory bodies.
Contribute to the establishment of the "Licensing Basis".
Monitor compliance between design requirements and licensing requirements.
Track open licensing issues, assumptions, and technical decisions.
Contribute to the identification and mitigation of licensing risks.
3. PSAR / FSAR and Licensing Documentation
Provide technical contributions to the preparation of PSAR and FSAR documentation.
Coordinate the preparation of relevant sections of licensing application documents.
Ensure the collection of required technical inputs from design teams.
Verify consistency among system designs, safety analyses, and licensing documents.
Track sources and bases of technical information used in licensing documents.
Support the preparation of technical responses to regulator inquiries.
Track regulatory commitments, action items, and review comments.
4. Alignment of Requirements with the Project
Establish the Regulatory Requirement → Project Requirement → System Requirement → Design Document → Verification Evidence chain.
Identify which system, equipment, or document satisfies specific requirements.
Create and maintain Compliance Matrices / Requirement Traceability Matrices.
Ensure the tracking of evidence regarding the fulfillment of requirements.
Detect missing, conflicting, or unfulfilled requirements.
Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the design lifecycle.
5. Technical Coordination with Design Teams
Collaborate with nuclear systems, mechanical, electrical, I&C, safety analysis, PSA/PRA, fuel, materials, and other engineering teams.
Review the alignment of design outputs with regulatory requirements.
Contribute to the licensing-focused review of P&IDs, system descriptions, design criteria, and calculation reports.
Support tracking of system safety classifications and related design requirements.
Evaluate the impacts of design changes on the licensing basis.
